Charles Simmons Jr. is the Nome location manager previously managed by Byron Hlavinka. He began his career with Hlavinka Equipment at the end of 2023.

Charles is a southeast Texas local with long family ties to agriculture. Prior to his employment with Hlavinka Equipment, he served as Bill Dishman Jr's. farm manager for 20 years. During his 20 years he learned and performed all tasks necessary for crop production. Charles with mentorship from Mr. Dishman also managed his own rice farming operation for 10 of those years.

Charles has been married to his wife Becky for 14 years and lives on their 46-acre property north of Sour Lake. They enjoy a quiet life revolving around home and property projects.

Charles is looking forward to the rewards and challenges of his new role and hopes with the help of Byron and others makes a valuable asset to the Hlavinka family.
