What Our Employees Are Saying

"HEC has helped me grow so much, both personally and professionally. When I started, I never imagined I’d be here over a decade later, but this role has pushed me to become a stronger communicator and a better leader. As the first female Service Manager, I’ve been able to build a successful department thanks to the encouragement and support of leadership. The feedback and trust I’ve received have motivated me to be the best I can be." - Misty Wells, Service Manager

"HEC supported me from day one, making the transition easy and helping me reach my goals. They keep their word and back their employees the same way they support their customers. It’s a family-oriented company where you truly feel like one of their own." – Justin Albrecht, Sales

"What I enjoy most about working at Hlavinka Equipment is being surrounded by people who feel like family. Whether you need help at work or even outside of work, they always have your back. Our team supports each other in every role, and there’s never a shortage of encouragement. It’s the kind of environment where you know you’ll end each day with a smile." – Haley Gill, Service Coordinator

"A proud moment for me was when the previous department manager handed me the keys and stepped back, trusting me to run things my own way without criticism. That kind of confidence and trust in leadership is rare and showed me how much HEC believes in its people. My team reflects that same spirit — full of jokesters who keep things fun but also dedicated to getting the job done no matter what. Even on the tough days, we support each other and focus on making tomorrow better." – Thomas Tucker, PFS Manager

Service Technician Development Program

At Hlavinka Equipment Company, we’re proud to invest in the next generation of skilled technicians through our Technician Development Program. This program is designed to provide students with the opportunity to further their education at the school of their choice while gaining valuable, hands-on experience in our shops.

By combining classroom instruction with real-world training, students build a strong foundation for a successful career in today’s advanced agricultural equipment industry. Our business – and the industry as a whole – depends on knowledgeable, highly trained professionals who can service and support the cutting-edge equipment our customers rely on.

We also understand that pursuing education requires dedication, time, and financial commitment. To help ease that burden, participants in our program may receive support through tuition assistance, bonuses, and merit-based increases as they progress toward their degree. "The Service Technician Program was more than classroom learning — it gave me hands-on experience and helped me understand the 'why' behind the work. That made me more confident in diagnosing issues and working directly with equipment at HEC. My most memorable moment was solving a difficult problem on my own, which showed me how far I had come. I’d recommend this program to anyone who wants practical training and the tools to succeed." – Dylan Gutierrez (Class of ’25)
