Get ready for a great day on the water at the Darrell Peterson Memorial Fishing Tournament, hosted by Hlavinka Equipment Company and sponsored by AGCO, on Friday, May 29th, in Taft, Texas! Teams will hit the water starting at 6:00 AM, with weigh-in taking place from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at our Taft location, 418 Kirkpatrick, Taft, TX 78390.
Entry is $300 per team, with payouts split between the main pot and exciting side pots. This year’s main pot celebrates Hlavinka Equipment Company’s 87 years in business with a winner-take-all challenge based on the combined slot length of five fish (slot red, slot trout, or slot flounder). The team closest to 87 inches without going over takes home the prize! Side pot categories include Slot Red (most spots), Trout Closest to 20″, Heaviest Red Slot, Heaviest Legal Fish, and Open Class.
